miscommunication

I signed up for the 4.8 mile leg of a relay marathon, assuring my teammates I was good for five 10-minute miles.

Now I find out they apparently meant CONSECUTIVE miles.

People really need to be more specific.

    I once had that same problem in a different light. I went to the Piggley Wiggley, as I pulled up, Joe the store Manager was locking up. I said, “Joe, the sign says your are open 24 hours, Joe responded with, “we are, but not in a row”. Go figure. Good Luck!

    yeah . . and when resturants say … all you can eat … what they really mean is
    all you can eat before we ask you to leave
