Waffle run

Longtime readers will recall that 10 minutes is the exact time required to cook waffles without fear of death. As fate would have it, it’s also my hopeful pace for the upcoming Incarnate Word Academy Marathon.

Today was a 4 miler at 10-minute (marathon) pace. It was OK and I’m pretty sure I had another 22 left. That 385 yards will be a problem, though.

This was supposed to be a photo showing how sweaty I was after the run. Mostly it just makes me look like a ghost. Which is pretty much how I feel.

I ran exactly 4 miles. Mo ran exactly 4.1 miles. She said it was just a coincidence. Mo is not a nice person. (Editor’s note: Mo just assure me she is a nice person.)

Which is probably why she made waffles in the toaster again today. Luckily you can’t kill a ghost.

Nice run Casper! The question I have is does Mo have 22.1 left in her?

    • She was talking half-marathon today. (guys from work saw her running yesterday and said she looked like she was “prancing.” Now she’s running with an attitude.)

I hope Santa doesn’t hear about that. I heard Prancer and Dancer retired last Christmas and Santa is looking for replacements.

Prancer and Dancer might be retired, but DASHER is still in the biz and will be making his annual appearance with his Loopster 3-D glasses hehe. I’m curious though, will we also be hearing from the Ghosts of Piranhas Past, Present and Future? 🙂
