mud slide slim and the blue horizon. i listened to that album so many times in high school. it was part of me.
simple songs about friendship and love and ending the war. we were going to change the world.
and then we didn’t.
i’m listening to it today, remembering. where did the time go? where did the dreams go?
now it’s up to the peeps in high school today to change the world. maybe. but this album will always be a part of me, a memory of the time we thought we could make it happen.
