things i wish i had said, part 102

It’s usually the milestones we mark, the childhood or coming of age experiences that we attach to our favorite places. At a certain age most of our best milestones are in the rear view. But not all!

We return looking for the enchantment & find change has preceded us. There’s still enchantment. But new people are putting up their markers. It causes us to lose equilibrium.

If we can accept all of that & again find our balance, a new magic waits. It’s just more work than the first time.
