Installation artwork: “Fall 2022”

Artist: Margaret (“Mother”) Nature

Artist’s statement: In juxtaposing the exploding colors of changing leaves with an endless blue sky, I sought to represent how life is both endless and constantly ending.

Donald Judd once said: “A definition of art finally occurred to me. Art is everything at once.”

Mouse, on the other hand, once said: “I have the strength of a hundred mice. But some of those mice are pretty weak, so it averages out to normal strength levels.”

I hope my artwork creates a bridge between the two philosophies, although likely one of those flimsy rope bridges that ends in an untimely demise. Isn’t that what all great art should do?

About the exhibit: “Fall 2022” will be on display at 9300 N. Snow Bowl Rd, just outside of Flagstaff, AZ, for a limited time from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. No admission fee. Sorry, no parking validation.
